It is currently possible to search the TRC library by TRC reference ID (a unique number assigned to every item in the library), Author, or Title. Keep in mind the following stipulations as you perform searches:

1. Searches by TRC reference ID will result in only 0 or 1 matches, while searches by author or title may result in multiple matches.
2. If more than one search field is supplied by the user, the results are combined with a logical AND, thus reducing the possible matches.
3. Author and Title searches are based on a comparison between the exact search string supplied by the user and the entry in the library database. For example, if a search is performed on the book title What the Best College Teachers Do by Ken Bain, the book will be found by searching for "What the" or "Best Teachers" but not "What College Teachers".
4. Searches can be further refined by selecting the type of item to search for, e.g. 'Videos'.
5. All items returned from a search can be checked out unless noted in the search result.
