Development & Public Affairs (DEV) is committed to the success of
employees at the University and within the Development Community. Joining
a new community can be intimidating and frustrating. Understanding the
history, people, language and goals and values takes time. Employees are
encouraged to continue learning through a series of workshops known as
the Development Traditions Learning Series. The workshops are based on
our core values that include a sense of excellence, sense of community
and a sense of service. Join us and our Traditions leaders, from within
the development community, as we explore the history, people, language
and values with a focus on the development perspective.
We offer open enrollment to employees of the development community and
welcome you to attend the series. Employees outside of the development
community should contact Yvonne W. Carter at 434-924-3653 or Anita Long
at 434-924-6151 before registering for a workshop.
