Complete the steps below as needed.

1. Assignment of responsibilities and authorizations

Complete an Integrated System Access Form.
Your supervisor must complete an Integrated System Access Form with the required signatures authorizing you to access the system.

Certain Integrated System responsibilities conflict with one another and can not be assigned. Exceptions to this policy will be granted on a limited basis and will be consistent with policy 4.2 of the University of Virginia Administrative Data Access Policy. This policy is housed at: http://www.itc.virginia.edu/policy/admindataaccess.html

2. Complete an Electronic Access Agreement.

Complete the Electronic Access Agreement .
All individuals trained on the Integrated System applications will be required to sign an electronic access agreement, confirming that you understand the proper use of the data to which you have access. The agreement needs to be completed one time only.

3. Determine the required training.

To determine required classes, access the Integrated System Responsibilities By Module page on the Integrated System web site. You may also enroll in any class through this process.

NAV-Integrated System Navigation and Overview is a required prerequisite for most responsibilities. NAV-Integrated System Navigation and Overview only needs to be taken once to meet the requirement. Some courses have additional prerequisites.

Six Month Rule: If you have taken a required class for a specific responsibility, but have not completed the training nor have had the responsibility activated within six months of taking the class, you will be required to retake the class. Also, if you are assigned a responsibility that you previously had, which was deactivated for longer than 6 months, you will be required to retake the course(s) before it is reactivated.
